Is there an AI for helping my kid with homework?

Two different products are on sale here and both work. One kind of tutor flatly refuses to hand over the answer and Socratic-questions your kid toward it for a few dollars a month. The other reads the equation off a photo and shows every step of the solution, free. On school-level math both are reliable.
