So run the same ten minutes of your hardest audio through two or three free plans and compare the names, the numbers and the speaker labels, not the overall feel. Speaker diarization: how a transcript knows who said what

Speaker diarization is the step that splits a recording by voice and labels each turn, so you read Speaker 1 and Speaker 2 instead of one block of text. The model only hears that the voices differ; it does not know who anyone is. You rename the labels, and some meeting tools above put real names on them for you.

It is also where transcripts go wrong most often. Crosstalk, similar voices and one microphone in the middle of a room all blur the split, so check who said what before you quote anyone. On some tools above speaker labels are a box you tick before uploading, or part of the paid plan.
